Own The Space is building an ambitious campaign hub to support a variety of critical initiatives on Palestine. On issues ranging from political prisoners to the bias in digital platforms, the Palestine Hub will deliver large-scale creative interventions, breakthrough social content and secure top-tier media to shift the debate in a number of key areas.
We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to lead the political engagement work, motivating and mobilising key political figures to support the campaign work.
You will be responsible for:
- Securing political support: From organising open letters, political events or private meetings, you will use your time and skills to develop a strategy and activities focused on building political support
- Creating networks: Building relationships with partners and allies including political representatives, think-tanks, civil society and other allies
- Developing strategies: Identifying opportunities for impact informed by a sharp understanding of political and media debates
- Telling stories: Creating campaign updates and messages that can deepen engagement with key audiences
- Building hope: Whether it’s within the team, with partners or in a piece of content, you will know how to use hope to inspire action and build momentum
About you
You will have at least five years experience in a similar role and be highly motivated on this issue. In addition, below are the core attributes we think will make you successful and happy in the position. You are:

Compensation and Benefits
- This role a full-time role being offered on a one year fixed-term contract or as a freelance contractor
- Benefits include 35 days annual leave, pro-rata (inclusive of public holidays and grace days) and 6% pension scheme
- Salary is comparable with other international campaign organisations. Own The Space has fixed salary bands / fees to keep compensation at our organisation as fair and equitable as possible
